VAT relief

Understand the eligibility rules before you buy. Relief depends on both the customer and the product.

Who may qualify?

People who are chronically sick or disabled may qualify for relief on certain goods for domestic or personal use. Temporary injuries and age alone do not automatically qualify.

Which products may qualify?

Certain wheelchairs and equipment designed for disabled people may qualify. General-purpose accessories do not automatically qualify, even when used with a wheelchair. Each product needs its own tax assessment.

What happens when ordering?

Eligible sales normally require a customer eligibility declaration. If you think you qualify, tell us when you ask for a quotation and we will explain what the declaration needs. The price with and without relief will be clear before you pay.

Protecting your information

Please do not email us medical records. A declaration needs only the minimum information, and we will tell you exactly what that is.
